Today's Date -- For those EAAers who may not get the email updates or have heard the news... EAA has made all Sport Aviation issues from 1953 to 2006 available online, free for members. The archive is also searchable by title, author, and text. You can download PDFs of the entire issue, or just the pertinent article. Pretty cool, methinks. (202 results for Corvair; 726 for Pietenpol!)

Another thing they are finally doing that I think is rather neat is short homebuilding instructional video clips. I don't believe you have to be a member to view those. If you go the eaa.org and click on the Multimedia you ought to be able to find an instructional video link. There are different sections, from general to tube & fabric, sheet metal, etc. They're not perfect, and sometimes not very long, but they are a good introduction to all sorts of topics.

I've thought that EAA's online efforts had been lacking for a while now, but it looks like things may be changing for the better. Have a good one,
